PRESENTATION

Thanks to its own laboratory, S.M.E. can provide its customers with fast experimental validation of their products. Major applications include:

  • Determination of missing key characteristics of the materials used in customers' devices
  • Validation of designs and/or simulation results
  • Rapid prototyping and quick-turn evaluation of the performance of prototypes
  • Comparative measurements (benchmarking) with competitors' products

ELECTRICAL MEASUREMENT

  • Sensor performance measurement :
    • broad portfolio of sensors for the measurement of product performance
    • wide range of temperature environments, for the evaluation of temperature dependancy
    • automated equipment for 3D spatial characterization of sensor response (as a function of distance for proximity sensors, relative orientation for magnetic sensors..)
    • software and hardware environment for the development of fatigue and ageing test benches

THERMAL TESTING

The thermal performance of our customers' devices, as well as the stress induced by the change of temperature, can be assessed through several measuring techniques, under various environmental conditions.
